Homework
Most students are reading (or being read to) regularly at home. I love hearing the comments about what students are finding interesting in their books or how their reading is progressing. Keep up the regular reading, it is very important!
The speaking and listening homework for Term 1 is based on our HSIE theme "Identifying Us". Students are to complete tasks at home on a fortnightly basis and then present their work to the class. A copy of this term's homework sheet is attached below.
Please return homework books as each task is completed. If you ever have any questions or comments about your child's homework, please don't hesitate to ask. You can send an email here. Thank you for your involvement in this area of your child's development.
Weekly maths and spelling homework will commence in Term 2. If you're looking for other activities you can do with your child, here is a list of ideas that you could use at home throughout the normal day to day routine that will assist with their progress in literacy and numeracy.
